Wanderlust is simply the best in the business! I remember the moment I got engaged like it was yesterday. From that day forward my heart was exploding with love and excitement for the future that awaited my fiancé and I. It was such a special time in my life and I knew that I wanted every last detail to be more than perfect. Samantha Loshelder of Wanderlust planned both my wedding shower and my bachelorette party. Both events were more beautiful, magical, and captivating than I could have ever hoped for. I arrived the morning of my wedding shower at a whimsical and charming wine cellar for a winery themed party that seemed to be the reality of my ideas and thoughts brought to life. The shower details included countless bottles of wine with personalized labels of our wedding date, wine stopper favors for all the guests, a hearty lunch of homemade soups, sandwiches, and a gorgeous cake almost too delicate to eat. The décor added a sense of elegance to the event that left a lasting impression on all the guests. My bachelorette party consisted of two parts: a local evening out on the town and a weekend getaway with the bridal party. Everything from the invitations, party favors, games, bridal props, and travel accommodations were handled with the utmost care and diligence from Samantha. There wasn’t a single detail that wasn’t taken care of. The parties were tasteful, classy, and sophisticated just as I had hoped and expressed. Wanderlust takes the time to get to know you and your personal desires for your most important events. They truly care about putting your vision and your ideas into place for your special day. "One only has to plan one’s own wedding once (hopefully!). As such, the experience is full of ‘firsts’ for most people. Had I ever in my life had to figure out how much alcohol to purchase for 160 people or try to weed through hundreds of DJs to find the one who will do the best job for my fiancé and I? Nope. There are one thousand and one decisions to make leading up to the big day, and though totally worth it, the process is exhausting! After beginning our wedding planning and starting to realize the amount of work and details involved, my fiancé and I decided to try and look for a professional to ease the burden, help us make some of those many decisions and more importantly, oversee the day of so that we would not have to worry about a thing. Luckily for us, we found Wanderlust Weddings and Events. After our first meeting, I felt completely confident in Ali and Sam’s abilities to provide just that for my fiancé and I. We found them to be very professional, prompt in communications and were extremely easy to work with. I believe it’s because of them that our wedding turned out to be a beautiful event that turned out exactly how we had envisioned it (maybe even better!). We couldn’t have been happier with everything Wanderlust Weddings and Events did for our wedding. They acted as our day of coordinators, but were involved with our wedding from the start. As we got closer to the big day they were there to help put together timelines, figure out last minute details, coordinate our rehearsal, and even joined us at the final walk though at the venue. Their services went above our expectations. We had a lot of our own centerpieces and decorations for the venue; and although we had discussed our plan for everything prior to the day of the wedding, the way they took our vision and perfected it was beyond anything we could have achieved ourselves. They definitely have an eye for what works in a space, both aesthetically and functionally. We were so thankful to have them available to help throughout the evening of our wedding; an issue arose with our transportation at the end of the night and they were quick to come up with a solution for us, before we could even begin to stress about it.
